Mr. Shamsulhaq Mohammed Jalil Iraki established Iraki Scrap Suppliers in 1976. This was the beginning of the GermanSteel tale. The company's mission, back then, was straightforward: to deal in good quality scrap metal in a honest and ethical manner.

By mid 1990s the second generation of leadership was ready to take the company to new heights. GermanSteel took a bold step into steel manufacturing setting up state of the art facilities to produce sponge iron, billets and TMT bars.
This was not just about expansion it was about control. By going vertically integrated GermanSteel ensured that every stage of production from raw material to finished product met the highest quality standards.
Today the company has two world class manufacturing facilities in Samakhiyali (Kutch) and Viramgam (Ahmedabad). These plants are certified with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and BIS approvals (1786 & 2830) – a seal of trust and quality that builders and developers can rely on.
